After years of photographing weddings across Ireland, I’ve learned that what lasts isn’t just the images, but how the day actually felt.
Working alongside different planners over the years gave me a deep insight into what couples truly experience when they elope — the excitement, the nerves, and the quiet in-between moments that often matter most.
Those years behind the camera taught me something important: the most meaningful elopements aren’t just beautiful, they’re intentional. They’re shaped with care, clarity, and trust. I saw how powerful it could be to help couples navigate the journey of eloping — from the very first idea, through thoughtful planning and guidance, all the way to a day that feels calm, personal, and true to them.
That understanding led me to create Ireland Elopements & Co in 2025. It grew naturally from my experience photographing elopements across Ireland and became a way to bring thoughtful planning, storytelling and local knowledge together — giving couples a calm, considered and stress-free way to create an Irish elopement that feels personal, cinematic and deeply meaningful.
At Ireland Elopements & Co, everything begins with connection — understanding who you are, what matters most to you, and how to make decisions that shape an elopement experience that reflects that. Whether it’s exchanging vows on a windswept cliff, deep in an ancient forest, or beside the quiet ruins of a castle, the focus is always on keeping the planning process simple, meaningful, and grounded.

Creating an elopement that feels unmistakably yours — personal, meaningful and unforgettable
I’m Shane — an elopement planner and photographer based in Ireland, a storyteller at heart, and a husband and dad. Over the years, I’ve worked with couples from around the world who wanted something different: a celebration that felt smaller, more personal and completely true to them.
That’s where my role begins. I help you move beyond the overwhelm, simplify the planning process and turn your ideas into a thoughtfully shaped experience. Rather than handing you a rigid plan or one-size-fits-all package, I take the time to understand what matters most to you — the atmosphere you imagine, the landscapes that inspire you and the moments you want to remember.
From there, I bring together the planning, timeline and local knowledge needed to make the experience feel calm, natural and beautifully considered. I’ll also introduce you to trusted independent suppliers whose work complements your vision, with each supplier contracted and paid directly by you.
The result is more than a beautifully planned day. It’s the freedom to be fully present, knowing every decision has been made with care and every part of the experience feels entirely your own.
